The National Weather Service issued the following winter weather advisory on Sunday for parts of Rhode Island -- and Massachusetts.
"Slow down and use caution while traveling," warned the NWS for the advisory which remains in effect from Sunday evening at 7 p.m through 7 a.m. on Tuesday.

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet
accumulations of up to one inch and ice accumulations of a light
glaze. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph along the east coastal MA
shoreline.
* WHERE...Portions of eastern, northeastern and southeastern
Massachusetts and northern Rhode Island. Including the cities
of Gloucester, Foxborough, Norwood, Cambridge, Boston, Quincy,
Taunton, Brockton, Plymouth, Providence, East Greenwich,
Warwick, and West Warwick.
* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 7 AM EST Tuesday.
