URI Loses on VCU's Late 3-Pointer

URI Coach David Cox
It was looking like URI was going to steal a game against the talented Virginia Commonwealth University team.

Then, VCU's Nah'Shon "Bones" Hyland hit a long 3-point shot with five seconds on the clock to lead the visitors to a 63-62 victory over Rhode Island Wednesday night.

The Rams played without injured senior star Fatts Russell. URI had beaten VCU in January 83-68.
