Russell led the Rams with 20 points but only hit 5-14 from the field, 0-3 from the three-point line and seemed to be at times the only Ram engaged in the game.

He was 10 for 10 from the line however -- and had 8 rebounds and 8 assists.

The Rams' second-leading scorer was Makhel Mitchell, who grabbed 8 rebounds.

The Hawks were led by Taylor Funk who had a career-high 29 points including 5 threes.

Rams Troubles

The Rams turned the ball over 16 times and the game featured 18 lead changes.

The Rams shot just 24% from behind the 3 point line.

NEXT UP: On Wednesday, the Rams travel to Richmond to play the Spiders who are now 7-3.
