NEW: Brown’s Clavette Signs With Tampa Bay

Brown University football senior long snapper and linebacker Courtland Clavette has signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent.
At 6'3" 235 pounds, Clavette started all 40 games for the Bears over his four year career while also competeing in track and field.
Draftcountdown.com had Clavette listed as the fourth best long snapper in the country entering the draft and only Navy's Joe Cardona was the only long snapper drafted. Cardona was ranked as the top long snapper in the country entering the draft.

Clavette now joins Zak DeOssie and James Develin as the only three Brown Alumni in the NFL. DeOssie has won two Super Bowl rings with the New York Giants as a long snapper while James Develin is coming off his first Super Bowl appearence and win as a fullback for the New England Patriots.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Buccaneers are coached by Lovie Smith while Leslie Frazier acts as the defensive coordinator and Dirk Koetter acts as the offensive coordinator. Kevin O'Dea acts as the Special Teams Coordinator.
Tampa Bay went 2-14 last season and finished last in the NFC South.
