With the game still scoreless, Florida State got on the board in the 28th minute when Kristen McFarland found the back of the net at the 28:40 mark to put the Seminoles up 1-0.

That would end up being all they needed.

The Bears struggled to generate any offense throughout the game, finishing the contest with just five total shots, only one of which was on goal.

Brown was also awarded just two corner kicks in the game.

Florida State would add insurance in the 87th minute when McFarland would find the back of the net for her second goal of the game.
