RI GOP Hall of Fame Ceremony Postponed to September
Thursday, June 09, 2016
The Republican Hall of Fam Dinner has been postponed to mid-September. The ceremony is being moved back due to the current Representatives and Senators being unable to attend with the budget coming to the floor for debate and the general assembly session coming to a close.
The ceremony was originally scheduled for Thursday, June 9.
"We want this dinner to be a special event to honor these men and women who have served the Republican Party and our state so well. Their honorable service is an example to all Rhode Islanders of the best in public servants. To leave our current elected officials out would diminish the evening. Honoring these great Republicans is past due, to give them less than the best is unacceptable," said the RI GOP in their press release.
