A hard-working single mom, Rhonda was a clinical laboratory scientist at Eleanor Slater Hospital. She was also employed at Sturdy Memorial Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, often picking up extra shifts to support her children. Rhonda was a wonderful mother to her children. She was a classic hockey, lacrosse, football, dance, and softball mom supporting them in all their activities. Her greatest joy was watching her children succeed in athletics and academics. She was known as the loudest voice in the hockey rink or on the softball field, while cheering her children on.

Rhonda was a free spirit with a warm smile and a contagious laugh. She had an immense love for fun, enjoying concerts, theater, and travel. She was always up for a new adventure and made anything and everything fun. She was a fiercely loyal friend to many and was always the first to celebrate or support them. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially spending time at the beach. She recently found happiness with her partner, Tommy Geruso

Rhonda was well respected in the community and was known for her generous spirit. She would always provide help to anyone who needed it and found joy in doing so. She also enjoyed spending time with her family. She adored her nieces and loved travelling with the family on vacation, to the beach or just relaxing by the pool or campfire.

Rhonda loved deeply and will be missed by many. She will be remembered for her kind, warm heart and fun spirit.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by two children, Ava Dorgan and Colin Dorgan, both of North Providence; a sister, Jill Le and her husband Quang of Uxbridge, MA; and four nieces, Hannah, Charlie, Helena, and Corinne.

Visiting hours will be at the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence, on Sunday, March 15th, from 1:00 pm -5:00 pm. The Dorgan family will remain until everyone who comes to pay their respects, has an opportunity to do so.  The funeral service and burial will be PRIVATE.
