Female Pedestrian Struck Twice Crossing Road in Providence Thanksgiving Eve

A woman was reportedly hit -- twice -- by vehicles while crossing a road on on Wednesday night in Providence.
About Incident
According to police, pedestrian -- later identified as female Cranston resident -- was attempting to cross Douglas Avene at Coggleshell Street shortly after 9 PM on Thanksgiving eve when she was struck by car.

Then, police said that as the woman was in the road, she was then struck by a second vehicle.
That driver remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation.
The woman was transported to Rhode Island Hospital and was listed in critical condition.
