Providence Police Provide Update on Triple Stabbing That Injured 8-Year-Old

Providence police on Wednesday provided an update on the triple stabbing that occurred in the city on Tuesday night, in which a juvenile was injured.
Police had been called to 52 Reynolds Avenue in South Providence for the report of the incident.
On Wednesday, police released that Eluemianada Almansa, age 73, and Gabriel Espinal, age 50, were both stabbed.

Police say the two adult victims tried to help fend off the assailant when they were also stabbed and injured.
The police say the suspect — Victor Espinal, age 22 — is in custody and faces three charges of felony assault.
