Providence Public Schools Closed Tuesday, Parking Ban Set to Begin at Midnight

Providence Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, December 3 and a parking ban is set to take effect at 12:01 a.m. as a result of the incoming snowstorm.

The parking ban will remain in effect until further notice.

Residents with overnight parking passes are advised that they cannot park on the street during the duration of the citywide parking ban.

All vehicles parked on the street in violation of the citywide parking ban will be ticketed and towed to ensure that roadways can be plowed.

Property owners are reminded to remove snow from their own properties, sidewalks and catch basins before, during and after the storm to ensure safe commutes for pedestrians.

Garbage and recycling pickup in Providence will go on as scheduled at this time.
