Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued for RI: Rain Turning to Snow, Ending by Early Evening

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook -- including the potential for snow and "slippery spots" in Rhode Island through Tuesday evening.

NWS is reporting the following for Rhode Island, and parts of Connecticut and Massachusetts:

Rain will change to a very brief period of snow before ending this afternoon into early this evening. 

Snow accumulations of a coating to perhaps up to 1 inch are possible in the highest terrain. 

Some slippery spots will be possible later today, mainly in the high terrain.
