At approximately 2:30 AM, police responded to a report of a stabbing victim at Rhode Island Hospital.

The victim informed police he was leaving Flow nightclub when he was approached and stabbed by an unknown male subject, when he was returning to his vehicle at 722 Cranston Street.

According to police, the victim stated he was unable to see the knife/object that was used to stab him during the incident.  Police observed three minor lacerations to the right area of victim's chest area.

Police noted they canvassed the area and were unable to locate a scene — and that the victim was “inconsistent with some statements that were made to police while conducting the investigation.”

Felony Assault

Police responded shortly after 2 a.m. to a report of a stabbing at 6 Melissa Street.

Upon arrival, police observed “several people outside” and a car in the middle of the street.

A male subject told police a man standing next to him had “tried to fight him” — police searched the vehicle stopped and found a red Craftsman folding box cutter.

One of the subjects then brandished another box cutter, threatening to fight another male subject.

Two individuals were transported to Central Station and charged with disorderly conduct.
