NEW: Latest Providence Murder Suspect Turns Himself In - Fifth Homicide This Year

The suspect in the latest Providence murder has turned himself in.
According to Providence police, Dontay McNeil is in custody following last week’s homicide on Herschel Street.
McNeil, 19, is from Woonsocket.

Providence resident Manee Castillo was shot sometime before 7:00 PM last Tuesday.
Castillo was taken to Rhode Island Hospital by a private party where he was pronounced dead.
It is the fifth murder of the year in the city.
