Drone footage captured a Thresher shark in the waters off of Narragansett on Thursday.
“I was out fishing with a buddy, catching sea bass, when we saw people lined up along the shore, which we thought might be lifeguard races,” said Dale Denelle, of being close to the river — and the Dunes Club.

According to Denelle, he got the video of the shark shortly after 2 PM on Thursday.
“I haven’t caught a lot of shark footage,” Denelle told GoLocal. “But for some reason, last year I saw more sharks than I’d ever seen in my entire life on the water.”
“They’re just sharks being sharks, eating fish,” said Denelle. “It’s their natural environment.”
