The shooting suspect in the latest Providence homicide is still at large, GoLocal has learned.

Late Tuesday night, Providence Police announced that a Cranston man was arrested in the “fatal shooting investigation” of 20-year-old Joseph Ramos in Providence.

What police failed to mention in touting the arrest is that the suspected shooter has not been located.

On Wednesday, police confirmed that they are “still searching for the shooter.”
