Dear parents, students, teachers and staff:
As you know, the roof at Central Falls High School is currently being repaired. Unfortunately, last night’s rain has caused water damage to a portion of the high school, including classroom space needed to hold classes. Out of an abundance of caution, we will be cancelling all classes at Central Falls High School on Thursday, August 31st and Friday, September 1st to allow contractors to address water damaged areas and continue roof repairs. Our contractors have assured us that the roof repair project is still on schedule to be completed by mid-September.
Classes for all high school students will resume on Tuesday, September 5th.
This delay is frustrating and we apologize for the disruption it is causing to our school community. We will make up these two lost days later on in the year.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact the high school at 401-727-7710 or the superintendent's office at 401-727-7700 x-2002.
Sincerely,
Victory Capellan
Superintendent
