The Hope/Wheeler Girls Alliance will be sponsoring a Marrow Donor Registry Drive on December 16 from 3-7pm in an effort to unite the community as they have united schools.
The event will take place in the foyer of Hope High School and faculty and parents will be supporting the 22 girls of the Hope/Wheeler Girls Alliance during the event.
The marrow drive, open to adults aged 18-44, hopes to attract more donors of diverse heritage to join the registry which supports thousands with blood cancers such as leukemia or diseases such as sickle cell anemia.
