The Wheeler School Completes Construction on Center for the Arts

The Wheeler School has completed its largest campus building project in school history, its Center for the Arts.

Wheeler began construction on the Center for the Arts in July 2013. The 18,000 square foot facility includes a completely-renovated and modernized Wheeler Memorial Hall theater plus a new assembly/performance space.

The building seats 400 and was designed by Ann Beha Architects.

Wheeler Hall will become a stand-alone, state-of-the-art theater with flexible seating, modern 'green room,' costume storage and expanded back-stage areas. The new assembly space will have 5 new performing arts classrooms, 4 practice rooms, 1 recording studio and 2 student lobby/lounge areas.
