More than 200 Hope High School students are getting detention for walking out of class last week in protest of scheduling changes, according to 630 WPRO, a GoLocalProv media partner.

The students face detention for two hours on Friday. They are also barred from going to Hope High’s field day in June and will have to do community service work.
