Barrel of Laughs Comedy
June 12
7:15 P.M.
Newport Vineyards
Mike McDonald, as seen on Showtime, Comedy Central, and HBO, will be performing at Newport Vineyards. Tickets are $30 per person and the doors open at 6:30 for live music and drinks.
Newport Gulls Game
June 12
6:35 P.M.
Cardines Field
The Gulls will take on the Ocean State Waves on Friday. After winning the New England Collegiate Baseball League last year, the Gulls are in search of another title. Gates open at 5 P.M.

NY Yacht Club Regatta
June 12-June 14
Halidon Avenue, Newport
The country’s oldest annual regatta will celebrate it’s 161st edition this summer with competition and camaraderie along Narragansett Bay. Entry is open to yachts with a minimum length overall of 25 feet in IRC, Classic, 12 Metre and One-Design classes, as well as the recently introduced Cruiser-Racer and Double-handed divisions on navigator courses.
British Motorcar Festival
June 12-June 14
Colt State Park
A three day all-British Motorcar Show and British Lifestyle event will take place in Bristol. Over 300 vintage British motorcars will be on display.
Annual Visitors Day
June 13
9 A.M. - 3 P.M.
SVF Foundation, 152 Harrison Avenue, Newport
Learn about the Smithsonian and the SVF Biodiversity Preservation Project at the historic Swiss Village. Staff will be on hand for demonstrations and Julian’s Omnibus food truck will be serving food. The event is free and parking will be available at Fort Adams.

A Walk With The Director

Blithewold Mansion
Blithewold's Executive Director, Karen Binder, will lead a stroll of the mansion’s grounds. The tour will highlight the outdoor elements, including updates to the buildings and ground.

Live Jazz Saturdays
June 13
1 - 4 P.M.
Greenvale Vineyards
The Portsmouth-based vineyard will host an afternoon of live jazz music and wine samplings. General admission tickets are $3 and the whole family is welcome.
Outside Movie Night

6:30 P.M.
Newport County YMCA
An outdoor screening of Annie, a Hollywood classic, will take place on Saturday night. The movie will be shown at dusk, with activities and concessions available, too.
Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute
June 13
9 P.M.
Newport Grand Event Center
Vyntyge Skynyrd will replicate the iconic 70’s era band’s music on Saturday evening. The show is free.
The Bit Players
June 13
10 P.M.
Firehouse Theater
The award winning comedy troupe will hold a late night show on Saturday night at Firehouse Theater. Their high energy improvisation is a lot like “Whose Line is it Anyway” and the event is BYOB.
