Thayer Street in Providence - the commercial corridor on the East Side by Brown University - is seeing another business shakeup.

This week, Spectrum India, which featured a wide range of gifts and novelties, announced that it is closing after nearly six decades.

Located at Thayer and Olive Streets across from the Brown Bookstore, it is the location of the former College Hill Bookstore.
