People on the Move:  Providence Preservation Society Names Two New Board Members

Providence Preservation Society (PPS) announced the appointment of Bonnie Nickerson and Neal Pandozzi to the Board of Trustees, each to a two-year term.

 

Bonnie Nickerson

Nickerson is the Director of Planning for the Northeast at Toole Design, a planning, engineering and landscape architecture firm. Prior to joining Toole Design, she served as the Executive Director of Roger Williams Park Conservancy from 2023 to 2025, as the Director of Providence’s City Planning Department from 2015 to 2022, and as the Executive Director of the Providence Redevelopment Agency from 2017 to 2022. Nickerson has a BA from Mount Holyoke College and a Master of Community Planning (MCP) from the University of Rhode Island. She lives in the South Elmwood neighborhood of Providence with her family.

Pandozzi is a public finance attorney who practices at Troutman Pepper Locke LLP in the Public Finance Group in the firm’s Providence and Boston offices. He was previously a Partner at Bowditch & Dewey, LLP, and prior to that Senior Counsel of the Public Finance Group at Adler, Pollock & Sheehan, where he was the first LGBTQ+ attorney to chair one of the firm’s practice groups. Pandozzi is a graduate of Moses Brown School, Providence College, Roger Williams University School of Law, and Boston University School of Law, where he earned an LL.M. in Banking Law Studies.
