Q&A:
Tell us about your professional experience up to now.
I have 15 years of experience as a professional realtor. I bring expertise in space planning, staging, and kitchen and bath design, along with the ability to highlight the original architectural features that make older homes so special. I also stay current on the issues surrounding historic preservation and the unique considerations of historic real estate.
Where are you originally from? Where do you live?
I grew up in and around Boston and moved to Sandwich on Cape Cod in 2005, where I enjoyed being part of a historic coastal community. Living on the Cape deepened my appreciation for New England’s architecture, landscapes and maritime history, and that perspective continues to influence the way I approach real estate. Today, I live in a historic ship captain’s home in coastal Bristol along with my husband and two mischievous cats.
What made you want to join Residential Properties?
The company has a strong reputation and long-standing presence in Rhode Island and into Massachusetts; RPL truly understands these interconnected markets. I was also impressed by the collaborative culture and the support the firm provides its agents. As a locally owned, independent company, Residential Properties offers the kind of personal approach and shared commitment to clients that I value in my own work.
What volunteer work do you do?
I am currently volunteering at Coggeshall Farm in beautiful Bristol, a living history farm that recreates life on a 1790s coastal farm with heirloom plants and heritage breeds. In Sandwich, I volunteered for many years with the Historical Commission, where I gained valuable insight into preservation issues and the unique considerations that come with owning historic homes. That experience has deepened my appreciation for the stewardship of older properties and the communities that surround them.
What is your non-work life like?
In my free time, I enjoy visiting historic house museums, painting, hiking, kayaking, and walking on the beach. Exploring historic properties throughout New England is both a personal passion and a way to continually expand my understanding of the region’s architectural heritage.
What are you most looking forward to now that you are with Residential Properties?
My goal is to help historic homes find the owners who will truly love and care for them. I’m excited to work with the talented team at Residential Properties and to connect buyers and sellers throughout Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts. Being part of a collaborative, locally rooted brokerage will allow me to better serve clients while helping preserve the character and history that make our region so special.
