Ownership Across RI
Patriarca in a May 11, 1961 interview with the FBI outlines his business interests that range from Atwells Avenue to a manufacturing company in Providence to a company in Woonsocket.

Denies Other Ownership
Patriarca denies ownership in more than ten companies that he is allegedly tied to.
The companies he claims not to have ownership in include, White City Amusement (although in a previous interview with law enforcement he admitted he was paid as a “consultant”) and he again affirmed that he did not have an interest in Duddie Auto Sale.

Media is the Problem
During the interview, Patriarca blames the media. He claims that “John Stroymeyer (Phonetic), a reporter for the Providence newspaper, had printed numerous articles concerning him and his release from prison in 1938. In this regard, he (Patriarca) said that he has been built up to be a “phantom” and a “powerful man.”

Patriarca’s Girlfriend
In a FBI memo, for the first time in the FBI files it is outlined that Patriarca has had a “20-25 year” relationship with a girlfriend.

A May 1961 memo outlines that the Bureau is conducting an investigation of the relationship between Patriarca AND THE MUSIC GUILD OF RHODE ISLAND AND J.P. MORGAN.
