Rhode Island's season came to an end with a 67-61 loss to Duquesne.

The seventh-seeded Dukes (18-14) controlled the tempo throughout. Duquesne had just one turnover and had 16 offensive rebounds. Alex Williams scored 22 points, Jimmie Williams added 17 points, and Tarence Guinyard had 15 points.

Rhode Island (16-16) was led offensively by Tyler Cochran. He tied the A-10 championship record - and the URI program record - by making nine 3-point baskets. He had 34 points, accounting for 55.7 percent of the team's scoring.

The Rams have been a disappointment in the post-Dan Hurley era. First under David Cox, and now under Miller.

Miller, during his four years, is 55–71 (.437) and 25–47 (.347) in the Atlantic-10.

Attendance has fallen by 25%, and at many games, few students attend.
