The University of Rhode Island men’s basketball team fell to George Washington University at the Smith Center in DC.

Rhode Island dug itself a major hole in the first half falling behind 34-18.

Ultimately, the Rams fell 75 to 70, and never led in the game.

Rhode Island did receive another outstanding performance from Tyler Cochran who finished with 24 points. Myles Corey added 20 points.

The Rams trailed in every statistic — shooting percentages, rebounds, assists, bench scoring and blocks.

The Rams fall to 14-10 and 5-6 in the A-10.

GW improves to 14-11 and 5-7.
