PC Issues Formal Statement on English’s Firing
Providence College formally announced Friday that Kim English will not return as the head coach of the Friars' men's basketball program next season.

It was the worst-kept secret in college basketball.
"We appreciate Kim and his staff for their efforts over the past three seasons leading our men's basketball team," Providence College Athletic Director Steve Napolillo said. "We wish him and his family all the best in the future."
English coached three seasons at Providence, compiling an overall record of 48-52 and a 23-37 mark in the Big East.
“Providence College will begin a national search for its next men's basketball head coach immediately,” said the school.
