The Boston Celtics selected Jaylen Brown out of California with the third pick in the NBA Draft on Thursday night in Brooklyn.
Brown averaged 14 points and 5 rebounds per game for California and was named Pac-12 Freshman of the year.
Brown shot 47% from the field , 65% from the free throw line and averaged 3 turnovers per game.
