The Boston Celtics & The 2016 NBA Draft
Thursday, June 23, 2016
The 2016 NBA Draft is set for 7 p.m. tonight at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York and the Boston Celtics have 8 total draft picks, three of which come in the first round.
Boston's first pick comes at number three where rumors have been flying all week. Some projections ( like the one below) have Boston drafting Dragan Bender with the third pick while others have them taking Kris Dunn.
Reports came out early int he week that the Celtics were talking to Philly about a trade involving the 3rd pick and Jahlil Okafor as the 76ers are interested in Dunn and have a bit of a log jam at the forward position.
