Gronkowski Going to Reunite with Tom Brady in Tampa Bay, Pending Physical

Former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is reportedly heading to the Bucs in exchange for a fourth-round pick in this week’s NFL draft.

According to an ESPN report, the Bucs have agreed to terms on a deal to acquire Gronkowski’s rights and a seventh-round pick in exchange for one of their fourth-round picks in this week’s NFL draft

The trade is pending a physical.

Since retiring, Gronkowski has worked for Fox Sports and been a spokesperson for a RI-based CBD company.

In August of 2019, Gronkowski announced he was partnering with CBD Medic brand of Abacus Medical Solutions Products in a press conference in New York City.

"I decided to walk away from the game for one main reason: I had to recover. That's why you haven't seen me in five months. I've been rebuilding myself and finding a new way,” said Gronkowski during his press conference.

According to a release by the company, "The agreement with Gronkowski and related agreements include payment of an upfront fee, royalties to be derived from a new sports-oriented nutrition & wellness brand that is planned to be launched, and an issuance of 302,835 subordinate voting shares in the Company and warrants to acquire 35,666 subordinate voting shares at a price of US$15.00 per share. Additional warrants are issuable on an annual basis during the term of the agreement."
