Devin Carter Undergoes Shoulder Surgery - Recovery Could Be Six Months

Former Providence College men's basketball star -- and #13 pick in the 2024 NBA draft -- Devin Carter has undergone shoulder surgery.

Kevin Stacom, one of the most accomplished PC basketball players in history, an NBA champion with Boston Celtics, and an NBA scout for nearly 30 years, gave his assessment of Carter prior to the draft on GoLocal -- READ HERE.

This week, the NBA provided the following update

"The Sacramento Kings announced today that Devin Carter underwent successful left shoulder surgery to repair a torn labrum. 

The procedure was performed by Dr. Harlan Selesnick at Baptist Health Doctors Hospital in Coral Gables, Florida.

Carter will begin the rehabilitation process and is expected to make a full recovery. 

A medical update will be provided in approximately six months.

Carter was drafted by the Kings with the No. 13 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft."
