As GoLocal reported in March, Carter’s NBA draft stock was rising among prognosticators, after a standout season at PC.

Carter did not play in PC’s NIT first-round loss to BC, which all but solidified rumors he would be leaving.

About Draft

The 2024 NBA draft will be held on June 26 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York and June 27 at ESPN’s Seaport District Studios in New York.

The complete order of selection for the 2024 NBA Draft will be officially determined at the conclusion of the NBA Draft Lottery on May 12, 2024 in Chicago.

The teams eligible for the Draft Lottery are the 14 teams that miss out on the NBA Playoffs.

After drawings are conducted for the first four picks of the NBA Draft, the other lottery teams will continue to pick in inverse order of their regular-season record.

The Draft selections for the remainder of the first round (No. 15-30) and the entire second round (No. 30-58*), are determined by reverse order of regular season record. Each NBA team gets one selection in the first round and one selection in the second round.
