Brown Beats Columbia - Moves to 6-3 in Ivy League

The Brown University men’s basketball team captured a critical road win beating Columbia University 72-66.
The Bears win gives Brown a 6-3 record, moving the team closer to its first trip to the Ivy League playoff for an automatic NCAA tournament bid.
Only the top four teams make the Ivy tournament.

Brown overcame poor 3-point shooting — the Bears were only 2 for 10.
The Bears are now 13-9 on the season. Columbia drops to 1-8 in the Ivy League and 6-19 overall.
Mike Smith led Columbia with 22 points.
Brown was down 30-35 at half-time. They travel to Cornell for a Saturday night game.
