RI State Police Arrest 4 for Sexual Assault, Video Voyeurism and Conspiracy

The Rhode Island State Police announced on Saturday that detectives from the Major Crimes Unit arrested three adults and one juvenile on Friday for 1st Degree Sexual Assault, 2nd Degree Sexual Assault, Simple Assault, Video Voyeurism, and Conspiracy.
The following adults were all charged with the above offenses:
Montrell Wilson, age 19 of 19 Sunset Road, Narragansett
Trenton Scuncio, age 18 of 16 Arnold Street, Wakefield
Jah'quin Sekator, age 18 of 507 High Street, South Kingstown
According to RI State Police, the arrests stemmed from a complaint filed by an adult female who alleged that she was both sexually and physically assaulted while she was incapacitated at a residence in Wakefield on March 1, 2021.
The victim told the State Police she was made aware of the details of the incident after the alleged suspects sent her video clips of the incident.
All three adults were arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and held without bail at the Adult Correctional Institution pending a re-arraignment date of Monday, March 15, 2021, at the 4th District Court.
The juvenile was petitioned into Family Court and remanded to the Rhode Island Training School He will be presented to the family court via teleconference on Monday, March 15th.
Each person who shall commit sexual assault in the first degree shall be imprisoned for a period not less than ten (10) years and may be imprisoned for life. Every person who shall commit sexual assault in the second degree shall be imprisoned for not less than three (3) years and not more than fifteen (15) years. A person found guilty of the crime of video voyeurism shall be imprisoned for not more than three (3) years in jail and/or fined not more than five thousand dollars ($5000). Except as otherwise provided in § 11-5-2, every person who shall make an assault or battery or both shall be imprisoned not exceeding one year or fined not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000), or both. Except as otherwise provided by law, every person who shall conspire with another to commit an offense punishable under the laws of this state shall be subject to the same fine and imprisonment as pertain to the offense which the person shall have conspired to commit, provided that imprisonment for the conspiracy shall not exceed ten (10) years.
