Governor Gina Raimondo was sworn in for her second term on New Year’s Day on the steps of the Rhode Island State House.
The ceremony featured military bands, cannon blasts and prayers from several faith leaders across the state.
"We'll make Rhode Island a beacon of hope for all of America to see," said Raimondo in her speech.
