Governor Dan McKee is trailing in several recent independent polls, and he has come out firing at his Democratic primary challenger, Helena Foulkes. On Wednesday, he released the first ad of the campaign season.

McKee's new ad paints a contrast between the two on a range of healthcare issues.

Foulkes was the President of CVS during the opioid crisis. 

A series of investigative stories by GoLocal has unveiled her direct ties to the Sackler family, who owned Purdue Pharma and are credited with sparking the epidemic. 

In addition, GoLocal revealed that Foulkes has raised funds from top tobacco company executives and their families.
