A whale carcass was discovered washed up at Bold Point Park on Sunday.

East Providence Mayor Bob DaSilva shared the following video - and message - on social media.

A very putrid smelling whale carcass washed up on the shore of Bold Point Park.

The RI DEM was notified and Mystic Aquarium was notified to investigate cause of death.
