Two Arrested in Warwick Street Racing Crash - Four Sent to Hospital

Two people were arrested for street racing in Warwick on Saturday, after a motor vehicle accident in the city.
According to police, first responders had to extricate passengers from one of the vehicles involved.
About Incident
Police say that shortly after 6 PM, Warwick Police and Fire responded to the area of Bald Hill Road and West Natick Road for a reported motor vehicle crash involving trapped passengers.
Officers said they located a vehicle that had sustained significant damage after leaving the roadway on West Natick Road and striking a barrier.
Fire personnel extricated four occupants from the vehicle, who were then transported to Rhode Island Hospital and Hasbro Children’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said that upon investigation and review of evidence, officers identified and stopped a second involved vehicle.
The operator of the crashed vehicle, Ashley Pare, age 34, will be charged with Driving to Endanger Resulting in Physical Injury, Street Racing, and Reckless Driving.
The operator of the second vehicle, Cody Cullen, age 21, will be charged with Driving to Endanger Resulting in Physical Injury, Street Racing, Reckless Driving, and Duty to Render Aid.
The incident remains under active investigation.
