It is sad news in Warwick as The Remington House announces it is closing after 18 years.

The restaurant posted on Facebook.

Dear friends and patrons,
The Remington House Inn will be closing its doors on Friday, November 30th. Please come and join us here in this final week for food, fun and crafted cocktails. We want to thank you all for 18 wonderful years. It’s been an amazing journey and we wish all of you the best in your future endeavors and again thank you for help making The Remington House Inn the warm welcoming place it is.

The restaurant opened in 2002 on "judges row" in historic Apponaug Village, "The Remington House Inn is a favorite for casual meals or special events.  We are proud to serve a wide variety of dishes and local specialties.  Whether by the fireplaces, at the bar or on the deck you will enjoy great meals and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere," said the company.

No reason has been given for the closure.
