Former Speaker of the House Gordon Fox, now serving three years in federal prison for corruption, invoked the fifth Amendment approximately 800 times during his deposition on 38 Studios.

In the August 18, 2014 deposition attended by seven different attorneys, Fox invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination during his four hour interview.

Fox refused to answer questions about his personal relationship with Michael Corso who lobbied for 38 Studios and had an ongoing friendship with Fox.

Former Speaker Fox refused to answer questions regarding vacation with Corso and business relationships.

Lawyers asking questions to Fox were primarily Adam Ramos representing First Southwest, Danielle Bart representing Curt Schilling, and Stephen Sheehan of Wistow, Barylick Sheehan & Lovely representing the state of Rhode Island’s interests.
