Pizza Delivery Driver’s Car Stolen at Gunpoint in Providence

A pizza delivery driver told police his vehicle was stolen — at gunpoint — on Sunday.
About Incident
Shortly before 6 PM on Sunday, police responded to Stone Street — off of Branch Avenue by Charles Street — for a report of a robbery.

The driver said when he went to put the food on the trunk of the customer’s car, that one man emerged from a house — and another from behind a trash can — and approached him.
One of the men brandished a gun, according to the driver, who said the suspect then stuck it against his back.
The driver said the three men got into his delivery vehicle and drove away.
Detectives are currently investigating.
