He was 83, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Tuesday, August 22, 2017. He was the beloved husband of sixty years to Madeline (Conca) Montanaro. A lifelong Cranston resident, he was a son of the late Frank A. and Matilda (Cinquegrana) Montanaro. He was a US Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War. He devoted his life to his family and will be missed by all who knew him.
Besides his wife he is survived by his devoted children, Laurie Montanaro, Frank A. Montanaro and his wife Joy, Gina Montanaro Eckman and her husband Michael, all of Cranston, and Diana Montanaro of Johnston. Frank was the cherished grandfather of Alexandria, Frank J., Michael, Jake, Karissa Montanaro, and Kelsy Lawton. He was the brother of Ann O’Connell of Cranston, William Montanaro of Wrentham MA, Angela DiRaimo of Cranston, and the late Helen Harrison.

Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Friday 4-8 p.m.
