NEW: Man Arrested for Assaulting Police Officer at Providence Club

A man was arrested for disorderly conduct and assaulting a police officer at a nightclub in Providence overnight.
It took place at Mi Sueno on Broad Street in Providence.
As GoLocal reported following a stabbing in March, the club has been the site of numerous incidents.

About Charges
Shortly after midnight on Sunday, police said that, along with club security, a patron was escorted out for causing a disturbance in the club.
Police said that the suspect - later identified as Carlos Garcia Carrasco, age 37- became combative, and a struggle ensued.
Carrasco reportedly then struck a Providence Police officer in the face.
He was arrested and is facing multiple charges.
