Moses Brown Welcomes Rachel Moulton as New Head of Upper School

Moses Brown School has introduced Rachel Moulton as the new Head of the Upper School. Moulton started at Moses Brown in July and has just concluded her first month with students and faculty back on campus. 

Moulton replaces Debbi Phipps who has begun a new role as Moses Brown's Assistant Head of School for Academic Affairs.

Moulton arrives at Moses Brown from the Miami Valley School in Ohio where he was the head of the upper school, chair of the English department and assistant director of college counseling. 

Moulton is a published author and has also worked as director of communications and director of Antioch Education Abroad at Antioch College. Moulton has also worked as the director of graduate admission at Emerson College. 

Moulton comes to Rhode Island with two daughters and her husband Dan. 

Moses Brown 

Moses Brown School was founded in 1784 and is an independent, college prep school that enrolls 775 boys and girls, nursery through 12th grade.
