Police responded to a stabbing in the city on Thursday afternoon. 

About Incident

Shortly before 6 PM, police responded to Family Dollar at Montgomery Avenue and Broad Street, where a male victim was located.

According to police, the victim had been stabbed multiple times with non-life threatening injuries. 

Police say they learned that the stabbing took place at the high-rise apartment building several blocks away on Montgomery Avenue before the victim fled. 

Detectives are currently investigating.
