Man Hospitalized After Stabbing Outside Downtown Providence Bar

Providence Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred outside a bar in downtown Providence.
About Incident
Police were called to Rhode Island Hospital shortly after 1 AM Saturday morning for a report of a stabbing victim.

According to the victim, security at the bar ejected everyone involved in the fight, which then spilled into an adjacent parking lot.
The victim said during the fight, he was stabbed in his back by an unknown individual multiple times; he was then driven to the hospital by a friend.
Detectives are currently investigating.
