Man Arrested After Assaulting 4 Men and Shouting Homophobic Slurs Outside Club in Providence

Providence police have arrested an individual who reportedly assaulted four men — and shouted homophobic slurs — outside a club in the city Saturday night.

Shortly before 2 AM on Sunday morning, police responded to a report of an assault outside of The Dark Lady on Snow Street in Providence.

Police said they spoke with four victims at the scene, who said they were leaving the club when Manning came up to them and punched each of them in the face with a closed fist.
According to the victims, Manning yelled homophobic slurs -- including "faggots" -- as he assaulted them.
The victims said they did not previously know Manning.
Manning is facing multiple assault charges stemming from the incident.
