Guest MINDSETTER™ Joseph Clifford: Is Bombing a Hospital a “Terrorist” Act?
Sunday, October 11, 2015
Where were you when the Boston Marathon bombing occurred? Do you remember the horror, and then the anger and rage you felt? Now think. How much anger and rage would you have if a “terrorist” bombed a hospital in a large American city killing doctors, children, and with patients were burned alive in their beds because they could not move. Think you would be angry after the initial shock? Of course you would, because it is a horrific act.
Well folks the US government did just that in Kunduz Afghanistan. Yup we bombed a hospital. The Pentagon, after 5 different stories, admitted to a “mistake," but it was not a mistake. The hospital had repeatedly given their GPS coordinates to all warring factions The bombing continued for 30 minutes after the military was told it was bombing a hospital. Mistake, hardly, not after reviewing the record. We bombed a children’s hospital and a maternity hospital in Iraq and this is not the first one bombed in Afghanistan. It has happened repeatedly. No, not a mistake! Are you ok with your country committing “terrorist” like acts?
It is time to face it. We bomb hospitals, we torture, we have bombed 14 countries in the Middle East, we assassinate, we have killed millions. Yes, millions! We have bombed numerous hospitals and have wiped out at least 8 wedding parties. Are you good with that? Is this what you want from your country? Isn’t it time you did something to end this madness. The inmates are in charge of the asylum.

Nothing. Is that leadership? Do they condone hospital bombings? If not, where is their emotional criticism? Is this not important enough for them to comment on? Are they simply proving my previous assertion that they are just 4 empty suits? Were I in their position, I would be on TV screaming about the hospital bombings, not holding a “lobster”. I would use every bit of leverage I had to insure that it ends. As a matter of fact, I would use my clout to bring US troops home. Have you ever heard your delegation explain why we have been killing people in Afghanistan for 14 years? Are readers content with 4 empty suits? Stop and recall the anger you felt after the Marathon bombing. How do you think Afghanis are feeling about you and this country? Maybe Reed, Whitehouse, Langevin, and Cicilline are ok with their country bombing hospitals, but that is not my idea of what America is about. I am outraged at their silence.
