Get Ready — A Hotter-Than-Average August is Being Predicted for East Coast

The hot temps however are expected to continue into August, with The Weather Channel reporting, “Summer Ends Hot in Central, Eastern U.S.”
“An area from the Rockies to the Plains, Midwest and Northeast is predicted to see temperatures that are the most above average from August through October, according to an outlook from The Weather Company, an IBM Business, and Atmospheric G2,” reports The Weather Channel.

September could, however, provide a respite.
"We’ve cooled September off a bit across the eastern U.S. based upon an interesting find, whereby the pattern associated with super-hot Julys often breakdown in late summer," Crawford said.
