EDITORIAL: Kudos to Providence Police
Monday, September 10, 2018
Kudos to the Providence Police Department for the quick and effective work in apprehending the suspected murderer of the shooting victim outside of the Providence Career and Technical Academy — 15-year-old William Parsons.

Providence Police have been understaffed and often lacked the support of Providence Mayor Jorge Elorza.
Despite the staffing shortfalls and the obstacles, they have continued to focus on their tasks at hand.
No one will ever think about schools being safe havens ever again, but thanks to the Department and Zienowicz and O'Connell, the scare may not be quite as pronounced.
